Pro-Am Tennis Policies & Procedures:

Fees

The method of payment for Group classes and squads with Pro-Am Tennis is either direct debit fortnightly, Direct deposit for the term into our account or Credit card payment for the term. Direct debit payments incure small set-up fee of $1.98 at the start of term plus $0.88 for each transaction (fortnightly).


Refunds: All payments are non refundable.

Enrolment

Parents will have to re-enrol their child for each new term. Notice will be given out at least two weeks in advanced of the new term starting and parents will then have to re-enrol their child for the upcoming new term. Students in groups or squads will not be automatically re-enrolled.
However, students in private lesson WILL be automatically re-enrolled for their same time/day for the next term. If you do not wish for this to happen please let us know in writing as early as possible preferably towards the end of the current term.

Indemnity

I, (or if you are under the age of 18, your parents/ guardian), hereby indemnify Pro-Am Tennis and staff from any responsibility and/or claim for any possible injury, damage or loss during my attendance at tennis training and agree to the above Terms and Conditions.

What should you bring to tennis?

Players should bring their tennis racquet, hat, water bottle and non marking sports shoes.

Parent Involvement

Parents are encouraged to watch. However, we do ask that parents do not enter the court unless requested by the coach. Pro-Am Tennis feels that it is extremely important that only positive reinforcement is used at all times by players and spectators.

Public Holidays and Student Free Days

Coaching: Coaching does not go ahead on public holidays.


Coaching at schools: No school = no coaching, unless otherwise informed.

Wet Weather Policy:

If it is raining or looks like it is going to rain, please call Allan on 0408 766 882 to find out if your program is going ahead. An official decision is made:

• 30 minutes before coaching programs including schools coaching


• 60 minutes before fixture programs

Whilst every step is taken to arrive at the correct decision, please remember we have no control over the weather. In the event of a lesson being washed out, please book into one of the make up lessons provided. You will be informed of these.


Weather conditions : Marist College - In the event of wet weather, if pouring down at tennis courts, lesson is off for group classes and privates and will be made up at another date.
Ithaca Creek lessons - will go ahead if raining and move to the undercroft area of the new building beside the swimming pool.
Hilder Rd SS lessons - will go ahead if raining and move to the undercroft area of the building beside the courts.

Make Up Lessons for Group Coaching

If you are owed a makeup lesson due to a wash out or public holiday, please call us to book your spot. Please note that Pro-Am Tennis reserves the right to make available make-up days at their discretion.


For casual absences, we will try and fit you into another class at the same level. However this is dependent on available spaces and a make up cannot be guaranteed.

Private Lessons

Private lessons require a minimum cancellation period of 12 hours - Cancellation within this 12 hour period or a failure to show for a private lesson will result in the full lesson being charged. Please remember that our coaches' time is valuable.

Consent to use of Imagery

During the course of our Tennis programs some imaging may take place. This is in light of our players performances, achievement and participation throughout our programs. Should you not wish for your child to be a part of this then please put this request in writing to us.
